It is ironic to hear that DIRECTV DSL will be shutting down after seeing all those TV spots about the guy who reaches the “end of the Internet”. It looks like all of their customers will be reaching the end of the Internet now. Personally I wouldn’t hold my breath for being converted if I were still their customer. I’m glad I jumped ship back during the Telocity / Rhythms collapse in Wisconsin. According to the press they have already closed down their customer service center so I guess I won’t be getting my refund they have been promising me for over a year after all.

I feel for those who are going to loose their service.
