The movie franchise that won’t die
While looking through IMDB I happened to come across the entry for Highlander: The Source (aka Highlander 5). I thought this comment found on the IMDB message boards sums it up nicely.

Something to read if You’re Panzer or Davies”
Dear Sirs,
Here is the list of tips for You how to make a good (GREAT) H5:
1. Hire a good writer - the best would be Gregory Widen who started the whole ORIGINAL story. Remember - there are 3 important things in every movie - screenplay, screenplay and screenplay.
* As a punishment for Yourselfs watch 3 more times Highlander2 (aka “Hey Janet, we’re from different planet”), Highlander3 (aka “The Remake”) and Highlander4 (aka “TV Series Episode”)
2. Make sure that Christopher Lambert will be back. There can be only one and Chris is “the only one” - the ORIGINAL Highlander /sorry Duncan’s fans/.
*Learn by heart this crazy sentence “Highlander without Christopher Lambert is a lowlander”
…
When I first heard this was being made I thought it was a joke. I honestly can’t believe there is still life in this franchise which is kind of ironic since the core of the story is about immortality. I’ve always thought the first movie was a good film with a great story.
The sick thing is that if this ever is theatrically released I’ll rush out to see it simply to see how bad it could possibly be.
