No, I was not the Technician in an episode of Star Trek

Looking at my referrer keyword logs I see that I get quite a few hits on my name. One of my co-workers (Rick) also likes to point out other Jon Cellini’s who happen to pop up on the Internet.

Sorry to disappoint but I am not any of the following Jon Cellini’s:

I am not the Jon Cellini who is an actor who portrayed a Technician in an episode of Star Trek: Voyager; nor did I appear as a Waiter in an episode of Once and Again. For the record I wouldn’t be caught dead in a Star Trek jumpsuit and I don’t have a clue what Once and Again was. I guess if I ever want to find work as an actor I’ll need a stage name to work under.

I also am not this Jon Cellini although there is a resemblance. Last time I checked no one had ever given me the nickname of “Meat”.

I am not this Jon Cellini who is a playwright, nor am I this Jon Cellini who is in the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.

I wasn’t the Jon Cellini who created the Cyberware Model 15 3-D Laser Scanner.

I also get a number of hits for people looking for “Cellini” watches. I don’t own a Cellini Rolex (can’t afford one) and I have nothing to do with them other than being able to trace ancestry back to the sculptor and goldsmith that the collection is named after.

  1. I think it’s fair to say you are by far the most interesting, and still living, Cellini of them all.

    Word.
