We saw Bruce Almighty on Sunday afternoon. It was surprisingly funny given the moralistic “god is going to teach you a lesson” premise. At least the message was a good one – we each have the power to effect positive change in our lives and we don’t need to sit around waiting on God to do it for us. Overall it was funny with out being overly preachy, although I did think the ending was trite.
