Little by little the house is progressing. We now have a finished roof, plumbing, and the slab in our garage. Here is the site of our home as of 6/29/03.

Today Bruce and I took a long lunch and took a drive up to Sherrard Point on Larch Mountain. The view of the surrounding Oregon landscape was fantastic.

Today I moved to a new cubicle at work. Given that I spend 40+ hours a week there I am happy to finally have a workspace larger than a closet.

We saw the Hulk this afternoon and I thought it was a tremendous disappointment.

The teaser trailer for my favorite comics antihero is out.

Hopefully they will keep the tone of the film dark and the characterization close to the comic roots. The teaser looks promising and Marvel has had a good streak of decent comic book adoptions so my hopes are up. It couldn’t possibly be worse than the Dolph Lundgren adaptation.

We went and saw Finding Nemo last night. While this isn’t my kind of movie by any stretch of the imagination I did find it enjoyable - both the voice acting and the animation were very good. For a children’s movie it managed to keep the moralism to a minimum.

We have been having some great summer weather for the last several days so I’ve been enjoying being able to drive around town with the top down in my Miata. I have found that I actually get much more use out of my convertible here which is ironic since Portland has a reputation for getting a lot of rain. Unfortunately rain is in the forecast for tomorrow so it looks like Wednesday will not be a topless day.

I want to wish my Dad a happy Fathers Day since he happens to read my blog occasionally. I hope you had a good day!
