Rocky Horror Picture Show

Last Saturday night I lost my Rocky Horror Picture Show cherry at Lincoln City’s Bijou Theater. The film was accompanied with a live performance by the Forbidden Fruit of Eugene. Since it was my first time seeing the movie live I had a red V drawn on my forehead and got to participate with the other “virgins” prior to the start of the movie as part of our initiation. The live cast gave a great performance and the actress who portrayed Columbia was quite lovely :)

Heather and I both had a great time.

iPod

I succumbed to the lure of yet another gadget and decided to buy an iPod. Lou is upgrading to a larger capacity model so he is selling me his old 10GB model for a good price. I’m not much of an audiophile so 10GB should be more than enough to hold my music collection. I’m looking forward to having a more capable MP3 player since my last one was a Rio 500 I purchased in Tokyo back in 2000.

My timing was good since Apple released iTunes for Windows today. So far I’ve been pretty impressed with it. After playing around with it for a few hours the only feature I find lacking compared to MusicMatch is the super tagging of MP3s.
