Today, I took advantage of the time off I had for the holiday (one of the benefits of working for a bank) and completed a few home improvement items I’ve been meaning to get too. We finally installed the rods and hung the drapes in our dining room. I also spent the afternoon wiring and mounting the rear surround speakers in my living room.
I’m glad you had some time to get the important things done–surround sound speakers, awesome! I know that I for one am still waiting for some photos of your house and what it’s like now that you moved into it. Or I may just have to come and see it for myself when I’m back in the US this winter.
I’ve wanted to wire and mount the speakers ever since we moved in. I’ve had all the parts for a few weeks; however, never had the time / initiative to actually get it done. The really nice thing was I had my builder pre-wire a run from the wall to the locations in the ceiling so I don’t have any ugly wire runs to look at. So now I’m set until I upgrade to a 7.1 system! Tonight I need to find a good DVD to test them out with.
I’ll take some pictures of the interior and post them soon.
When are you going to be back in the states?
