Paycheck

I caught a matinee of Paycheck this afternoon. I had been eager to see this film ever since reading the short story by Philip K. Dick it was based on. The film adaptation kept enough of the essence of the short story to make it interesting. Unfortunately they also decided to throw in some needless car chases and action sequences for good measure. The film ends up being a rather unremarkable sci-fi movie. I enjoyed it; however, the other adaptations of Dick’s works are much better films.

I would still like to see Dick’s Hanging Stranger brought to the big screen.

Our tree

Heather picked up a Christmas tree today. We will probably finish decorating it this weekend.

Hopefully we have better luck with it this year.
