With the continued show / ice here in the Portland metro area I’m stuck at home for another day. I figured it would be safer / more productive to work from home than try and run the gauntlet across town. My prospects of making it to work in one piece were rather slim anyway as the local plowing seems to be nonexistent and layer of ice formed overnight.

As a Wisconsin transplant is seems silly to have so little snow cripple the city. Granted in Wisconsin the roads are both plowed and salted and there are not as many hills to contend with.

Hopefully things will warm up again soon.
