Oh you are so, so, so, so incredibly lucky. I’d kill to be back in that area again (lived in near Hillsboro for 5 years). Down here in Coos Bay, it just rains and rains.
Right now I’d be happy if the snow / ice would relent. That said I really like living in Beaverton.
You’re more than welcome to have some of the snow we’ve been getting here in Hokkaido (the northenmost main island of Japan)! There’s about two feet on the ground now and we just got another six inches or so last night. I just moved here last month and I’m already tired of it.
The problem is we don’t typically get this type of snow here in Portland. I hope your move has gone well.
