I noticed that my blog will periodically have some display issues (disappearing text) when rendered with Internet Explorer. After searching the Movable Type forums for a bit it looks like this is a fairly common problem caused by bugs in how IE6 supports CSS. Unfortunately, the workarounds suggested in the forums did not seem to fix my problem. Until I have time to revamp my style sheet this will probably continue to be an issue.

I’m having the same problem, and the fixes are not working for me either…. 
Yes I was able to fix it. The default (at that time anyway) MovableType style sheets seemed to have quite a few issues rendering well in Internet Explorer. I was able to tweak them so they rendered better but I don’t believe I ever found a solid solution. Earlier this year I switched all of my content to WordPress and haven’t looked back. Fortunately the design I’m using currently doesn’t have this problem.
