the tooth
This afternoon I lost what little wisdom I have left by having my top two wisdom teeth extracted.
I was pretty apprehensive about getting it done as I’m not a fan of needles and everyone I have talked to who has had it done describes it as an ordeal. Fortunately, I have an awesome dentist so the procedure was quick and with very little pain. The entire procedure was about 40 minutes with most of it being time to give me shots to numb my jaw. Even with my dislike of needles the procedure wasn’t too bad. Both teeth came out pretty easily and didn’t cause me any major pain or discomfort.
It has been several hours since the procedure and the swelling on my face has already gone down. So far the pain hasn’t been too bad. My mouth is still bleeding some but otherwise I feel pretty good. I plan on taking it easy this weekend so I can recover.
