After owning my iBook for a few weeks one annoyance (so far the only annoyance) has been the lack of a scrolling trackpad. All the PC laptops I have used have had this feature for ages so it was kind of surprising to find it lacking. Fortunately I came across Raging Menace’s SideTracker which is a shareware application that adds both horizontal and vertical scrolling. The $15 price is worth it to fix the annoyance. I bought a copy last night and it works great
