This morning I saw this headline on DSLR about someone who is trying to pass off an old DirecTV DSL gateway on eBay as a “collectors item” for the rather absurd opening price of $1500. I can’t help wonder what the Telocity (which later became DirecTV broadband in 2001) branded gateway sitting in a box in my garage would fetch.

This weekend I should go purge some of those tech doorstops that have accumulated in my garage.
