It burns
Judging from the crowd at my local Coffee People I am not the only one who is out trying to beat the heatwave here in Portland today. We seriously need AC at home.

Vegas recap
Heather and I had an absolute blast over the last few days in Las Vegas.
The Nine Inch Nails show on Saturday was awesome. The Joint is a great concert venue since it is so small – Trent and the band kicked ass. Sunday night we caught the Penn & Teller show at the Rio. It was cool and after the show both Penn & Teller were cool enough to hang around and sign autographs for fans. It was kinda weird to hear Teller talk to me when I asked to pose for a picture with him. Probably the most amusing WTF!?! moment of the trip was seeing Ron Jeremy at the Rio. We bumped into him after the Penn & Teller show. He was nice enough to pose for a picture and sign an autograph.
We also managed to get a healthy amount of gambling in as well and visited quite a few of the casinos on the strip. We even took a detour on Monday morning to drop by the Library for a few hours which was a lot of fun.
I finally managed to unfubar my web server tonight so I was able to get all my moblog posted. Apparently there is a bug in the latest Gentoo PHP & PEAR ebuilds. Once I unload our digital cameras I’ll get the remainder of our trip pictures posted to the gallery.
Overall it was a kick ass birthday present!
