Heather and I caught Penn Jillette’s new documentary The Aristocrats last night. It features numerous comedians discussing the worlds dirtiest joke. It is a hilarious look at both humor and obscenity – definitely worth a viewing if you get the chance. The guy who tells his version of the joke while doing a Christopher Walken impression had me laughing for a good 3+ minutes straight.
Yes, funny, in a strangely disturbing sort of way. I mean, some of the stuff in that joke is totally illegal and I am amazed (and amused) that they were able to get away with it.

I think you missed a fundamental point – simply talking about an act that may be deemed by some to be distasteful, crude, or even illegal is not a crime. Of course they “got away” with it. They were simply speaking words which as Erin points out are a constitutional right that the right-wing theocracy hasn’t been able to take away yet. I also am at a total loss to understand why you feel that there is a racial element involved. The majority of the comedians featured in the film (and its producers) were white.
So WTF?
