@Mike

The .tiff can be used to make the RIZR look "correct" (like a RIZR) in iSync. Just switch it for the .tiff included in the plugin.

To be honest I'm not sure if merging the contacts will work or not. All I wanted to do was populate my phone book from the contacts on my Mac so I just did a one-way sync. I would imagine you could also use the RIZR address book to send the individual contact vcards to your Mac once they were paired. I know the UI supports sending contacts but again I haven't had the need to try it.

I'm an old Voicestream customer so my plan is grandfathered and doesn't include myFaves so I can't help you there. The nice thing is since my sim isn't enabled for myFaves I don't seem to see the spinning icons :)

Oh I see... if you use the plugin that supports calendar syncs then the picture fixes itself.

Glad to see that I am not the only one trying to get my RIZR iSync'd. Thanks for the link to the .tiff– but what do you do with it?

Also, have you figured out if there is a way to get the contacts on my phone over to my computer? I think when I first selected "merge" I might have lost out on all possibility of doing so.

I also cannot connect over bluetooth. Maybe it will work once/if apple ever releases an official update to isync.

You mentioned you were on t-mobile. If you're using myFaves, did you know you can turn off the annoying little icons that spin around? It's in settings, and even if they're off it still works on your bill.

Cheers,
Mike
