Japanese toilet
Arun posted a video showing the wonders of the modern Japanese toilet. This reminded me of the traditional squat toilet Heather and I came across while visiting Happiness Dairy back in 2000:
While it is not as fancy as its more modern counterpart it was equally confusing to try and use as a foreigner. I must say I prefer the modern variety.

Ten Four Ten
The recent Mac OS X 10.4.10 update seems to have broke my Airport 
When running off battery I can consistently reproduce a problem where the Airport connection will stop sending / receiving data after about 5-10 minutes of use. Putting it to sleep/wake or turning Airport off/on will sometimes fix the problem only to have it reoccur 5-10 minutes later. This also will pretty regularly be followed by a kernel panic.
From browsing the forums it looks like I’m not the only one having problems after the update. Strangely the issue does not seem to occur when running off AC power. Since I have an AppleCare contract I called this afternoon and got a case opened. The Level 2 tech I spoke with mentioned this was an “emerging issue” and that they would forward on my case and panic logs to Engineering for analysis. Hopefully a fix will be forthcoming soon.

The recent Airport Extreme Update 2007-004 seems to have fixed the problem. Thanks Apple
